About Daraius Cooper
Attending Teddington School, he won the science prize, enjoyed cross country running, rowing at Kingston Rowing Club and an interest in art and biology. After he completed his A-Levels in Sciences at Richmond College, he studied for four years at the British School of Osteopathy. He was proud to receive his qualification from his College's patron Princess Anne and later to be introduced to the then president Princess Diana.
Daraius went across London to Romford in Essex to work for many years with the osteopath Colin Dove, who was the principal of the British School of Osteopathy and the main protagonist in introducing cranio-sacral technique to the UK from the osteopathic doctors in the United States. Together they shared patients with difficult pain conditions which gave a lifelong experience.
Gaining a City and Guilds Teaching qualification, he has taught osteopaths at an undergraduate and postgraduate level and tutored students, monitoring their learning whilst treating the public at three osteopathic colleges. He has acted as an internal examiner.
Daraius gained experience working with doctors at a Harley Street Medical Practice. As he works with people from a very wide range of social backgrounds as well as a diverse age range, he continues to find his work to be of great fulfillment. Daraius has always pursued self-funded postgraduate studies particularly in the field of osteopathic technique including Cranial technique.
He has worked with one of the UK's best coaches for rowing for teenagers, having experience working with teenage rowers at Sir William Perkins school in Weybridge.
He takes referrals from the Royal School of Music, having experience in treating violinists in particular. Advising on ergonomics, especially for growing teenagers interacting with IT, is one of Daraius's many interests.
Daraius has previously worked in Northolt for 17 years and is now currently practicing in Pinner and Northwood.
